Daily Express RSS Feeds

Welcome to the Daily Express website RSS feeds page. From here you can see all of the RSS feeds that we offer, ranging from general News / Showbiz through to more specific feeds such as Health or DVD Reviews.

What is RSS?

RSS feeds allow you to see when websites, such as this one, have added or updated content. You can get the very latest headlines sent to you in one place, as soon as its published, without having to actually visit the websites you have taken the RSS feed from.

RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication' (although there is debate over this). You will need something called an RSS News Reader to be able to view any RSS content. For more details regarding this, read 'How do I view/use RSS?' below.

How do I view/use RSS

The first thing you need is something called an RSS News Reader. This is a piece of software which checks the RSS Feeds you have subscribed to, and lets you read any new or updated content that has been added. There are many different RSS News Readers, some accessed using a web browser, and some which are downloadable applications stored on your computer. There is a useful list of popular and reliable RSS News Readers on this page.

Once you have an RSS News Reader, all you have to do is to decide what content you want it to recieve. For example, if you wanted to get our Theatre Review RSS Feed, all you need to do is click the Theatre Reviews button located above on this page. How you subscribe will depend on the RSS News Reader software you have chosen, but typically it will involve dragging the URL of the RSS feed into your RSS News Reader, or cutting and pasting the URL of the RSS Feed you want into your RSS News Reader. For more details it's best to refer to your particular RSS News Reader's instructions or help areas.
