THE best thing about McDonald’s – well actually not the best thing, because the best thing is that if you’re out shopping and you really need a lavatory and you think “oh yes, there’s a public lavatory just round this corner” and then you remember “oh no, they closed it in 1996, in fact they closed them all down”… why did they do that, a bladder’s still a bladder and the population’s getting older…thank goodness that as often as not there’s a McDonald’s where you can rush into for a quick McFlurry, as it were.
